Founder
Joan Furió Vivas is a postgraduate student at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien under Professor Álvaro Pierri, and a Junior Fellow at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He made his orchestral debut performing the Malcolm Arnold Guitar Concerto in London, and returns to perform it with the English Chamber Orchestra in 2026. He has studied with Leo Brouwer, David Russell, and Manuel Barrueco.

Members play to each other in monthly performance sessions. Sessions cycle around the homes of members who are happy to host locally. Many sessions will be accompanied by Joan Furió Vivas, who will offer feedback and encouragement.
We improve our skills by getting used to the nerves and emotions we feel when performing, and from peer and Joan Furió Vivas's feedback.

At society sessions, members can practice their performance skills by playing to the rest of the group. On a regular basis, we are joined by our Society Leader who offers tips and advice after each performance. We learn from direct feedback, and by listening to feedback offered to others.
